A nickel-based welding wire extensively employed to repair grey iron castings as well as for joining cast irons to mild steels and stainless steels. It can also be used for overlay and buildup. A preheat and inter-pass temperature of 175°C minimum is recommended during welding. It offers good weldability, strong, dense weld deposits and is fully machinable. Mixed shielding gas required is 75% argon/25% helium.
