The Taurus Cut 70D Plasma Cutter is a high-performance, inverter-based cutting machine engineered for precision, efficiency, and reliability in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a built-in high-power air compressor, this all-in-one plasma cutting solution eliminates the need for an external air supply while still allowing quick switching to an external source for extended cutting operations.
Utilising advanced IGBT inverter technology, the Taurus Cut 70D converts standard 50Hz input power into a high-frequency output of up to 20kHz, delivering a stable, high-power DC cutting current. This results in up to 30% improved efficiency, a compact lightweight design, and exceptional operational stability.
The machine produces a highly concentrated plasma arc at temperatures between 10,000°C and 15,000°C, ensuring fast cutting speeds, clean, narrow kerfs, and a reduced heat-affected zone (HAZ). The outcome is a smooth cutting surface that minimises post-cut finishing and deformation.
